i went on an eco-trip and i just came back. i began my trip in mexico while reading elle's annual green issue. the pages were filled with clothing made from organic materials. these products are not necessarily green as they're often made in manufacturing facilities that are far from sustainable. another thing that ticked me off was their recommendation of some special limited edition compact with a coral branch on it complete with an explanation of the dangers imposed upon the reefs. lets just say i was a tad green-crazy but ive calmed down a bit. but thats not to say that i gave up the canvas instead of plastic routine and my new herb garden among other things. *posted by danes at 7:18 PM -
