ive always been intrigued by medieval fantasy and when i heard of this book i bought it. ive owned it for 6 years and i havent started reading it until now. it is absolutely amazing. i loved the whole uther/igraine romance and the tales of morgaine's studies in avalon. oh yea, and im a big lancelet lover. but then came gwenhwyfar...

i was angry with her right from the beginning when she came inbetween lancelet and morgaine. and i hate how she makes arthur get rid of the pendragon banner and all that jazz. and i really hate how pious she is, yet she hungers for lancelet. if she wants him so badly she should just leave arthur, who can do without her anyways. she is a squeamish, hypocritcal little baby.

i dont know what angers me more... how marion zimmer bradley portrays her or kiera knightly's "guinevere" in that king arthur movie. you know the one where she paints herself all up and goes out with her bow and arrow and fights 300 pound saxon warriors? yea... i dunno which gwen i hate more. *posted by danes at 12:42 PM -
