so the logic board blew up... and the estimated cost of repairs is $960 which means i'm getting a new computer. this is what happened... my old computer only had a 60 gb hard drive (ouch i know) so when i had no more space left i started running programs off my external hard drive. but i don't think my computer could handle running its own stuff and stuff off the hard drive (for some reason) so it gave up on me. i take full responsibility. i had thoughts about reformatting the day before and i should have done it! or i could have bought more hard drive space!

i put a lot of faith in my mac. which brings up a new point. i'm currently on my room mates computer running windows vista. i'm also using internet explorer. i hate windows and ie. i've been yelling and cursing the entire time i've been on this thing and it's not because i'm unfamiliar... i just think its sucks. i love macs so much that i would have a logicboard blow up every 2 and half years than deal with this painful os and browser for 10 minutes. but i really really really don't want another logic board to blow up.

that being said i'm buying a brand new shiny aluminum cased 2.0 ghz macbook with yummy leopard os with a 160 gb hard drive weeeeeeeeeeeeeeee. *posted by danes at 4:21 PM -
