st patty's day
today, i dressed up in traditional st. patty's day garb. okay well not at first. when i went to the local campus pub i just wore a green necklace (that resembles mardi gras beads) with a small plastic stein attached to it (like small enough for a shot). so i paid $10, drank some green beer, got a huge free glass stein and then ate two free hot dogs. i even entered my name for a draw and i won a green t-shirt that said "keiths me i'm irish". i haven't won anything since i was in grade 12 (i won a contest by correctly answering a question about the pope lol). it's obviously because i had the luck of the irish. on the way out of the pub, i saw my friend hannah from back home and she says "you're not even irish" not even preceding by a hello. i then proceeding to tell her that i was approximately "1/8th irish". i still love her.

anyways, now i had a t-shirt to wear to the pub tonight. two of my roomies made shirts the night before and i'm not sure why but sexual references kept popping into their ideas. so i asked them, "why does st. patty's day have to be so sexual" and i honestly forget their answer but it brings up a good point. my shirt is a play on words on a semi-sexual topic so i'm okay.

anyways, my day was filled with green beer even though i recently found out that st. patrick's real colour was blue. that's okay. i like to break tradition.
